Jackeline Rago - cuatro, bandola mandolin and Afro-Venezuelan percussion
Donna Viscuso - flute and alto saxophone; Jeremy Allen - bass
The Snake Trio gives voice to the hidden treasure of Venezuelan music by exploring the connection between North American Jazz, traditional Venezuelan song and the original ideas of it's members. Their music defiantly ignores musical boundaries to create a new musical direction that journeys the infectious rhythms of joropo and swing; gaita and soul; be-bop and calypso.
